Compus SystemCompus High Frequency Signal Matrix

The Compus is a wide-band relay based switching matrix designed for automated multiplexing of testing signals suitable for oscilloscope measurements.  The Compus offers high signal density while maintaining unparalleled high frequency response.

An optimized cross point matrix design allows for significant gains in signal path impedance optimization, the result: a 500Mhz 3dB point.  There is simply no other matrix with similar channel density that compares to the high frequency performance of the Compus.

The Compus' matrix relay switching paths are all controlled 50 Ω impedance, compatible with wide-band oscilloscopes.  Up to 25 input signals can routed to as many as eight outputs, ideally suited for selective high frequency signal monitoring with one or two four channel oscilloscopes.

To ensure hassle free use, in situ operational verification has been designed in from the ground up.  Dedicated test inputs can be routed through any vector to output or ground.  This allows relay contacts in the signal path to be verified without removing any cable connections.  This can be done after each vector change to detect relay contact failures when they happen, before they cause bad data.
